The Niagara Divers Association is hosting the 18th annual shipwrecks symposium in Welland, Ontario. you can find all the information on their site www.niagaradivers.com if you register online before Jan 12, 2012 you will receive a $10.00 savings. It is a full day and includes lunch and a chance for some great door prizes.
Drift dive through the village of Chippewa. This dive has a moderate current and a maximum depth of 30ft. We will be travelling downstream and have a vehicle placed by our exit. Saves a long walk.
Come Camping for the weekend Dive from shore with us at the Ivy Lee campgrounds If this is your first weekend of diving for the summer it is a great place to get your opening dives. If you have been out a few times and are ready to get a few more advanced dives it works for that too. The Park extends out into the river offering us some shallower bay dives that generally hold an abundance of fresh water life. While you might prefer to drift in the river from one side of the park to the other or if qualified venture into the deep water as the wall drops down to the river bottom (approximately 180ft) the choice is yours.

The DAN Oxygen Provider course provides entry-level training in the recognition and management of possible diving-related injuries using emergency oxygen first aid.
This is the entry-level certification course for recreational divers wishing to utilize enriched air Nitrox (EAN) as a breathing gas. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for using Nitrox mixes from twenty-two (22) to forty (40) percent oxygen content. Graduates may engage in diving activities utilizing EAN 22 to EAN 40 without direct supervision
A weekend of diving the waters of Georgian Bay.
Drive and Dive weekend. We will be venturing out to do some shore diving at sites around Ontario. Last year we did 5 dives over the 2 days. We will be finalizing destinations early July if you want to join us let us know what destinations you might like.
The objective of this course is to train the divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilising EAN 21 through to 100 percent oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression. To a depth of 40 msw (130fsw) this course can be combined with Decompression Procedures at the discretion of your instructor
August long weekend diving. 3 days of charters for advanced divers. Depths up to 130ft in moderate to strong currents. The warm waters of the St Lawrence draw a large number of divers. Water temperatures reaching 75F 22C offer some of the warmest dives Ontario waters have to offer.
This Course examines theory, methods and procedures of planned stage decompression diving. The objective of the course is to train divers how to plan and conduct standard staged decompression dives not exceeding a maximum depth of 150 fsw / 45 msw. During the course students will look at the most common equipment requirements, gear set-ups, decompression techniques and dive planning. Students are able to use EAN and Oxygen for decompression provided the gas mix is within their current certification level
